Host a Screening
Bring Wealth Untold to your community by hosting an in-person or online screening event! There’s something uniquely powerful about watching a film together. A shared cinematic experience invites reflection and meaningful dialogue, turning viewers into active participants.
Hosting is simple. After licensing the film through Kinema, you can welcome audiences for free or charge admission to support a fundraiser. The booking process is self-guided. Read our suggested guidelines for screening hosts and browse our Frequently Asked Questions for details.

We’ve partnered with Kinema to make hosting seamless. Whether you’re streaming in a university hall or projecting to a remote community, Kinema handles film licensing, secure playback, and attendee registration in just a few clicks.
By screening with Kinema, you’re directly supporting independent filmmakers and amplifying the voices and narratives they bring to light.
Screening FAQs
What types of screenings are available?
Screenings can take place in-person or online. For in-person events, all you need is a gathering space, a TV or projector with stereo sound, and a laptop to play the film. For online events, you can choose to stream the film simultaneously to all attendees (Live Virtual) or allow attendees to stream the film on demand (Flex Virtual).
What kind of venue works?
For in-person screenings, we recommend a quiet, comfortable space with good sound and picture quality. Theaters, libraries, conference halls, community centers, and other gathering spaces can all work well for a shared cinematic experience.
How much does a screening cost?
Licensing fees start at $100 USD and are calculated based on the event host type, expected attendance, and whether the screening takes place in-person or online. View our detailed licensing fees. Kinema will calculate the appropriate licensing fee automatically during the booking process.
Can I charge a fee to attendees?
Yes! Once you license the film through Kinema, you can welcome audiences for free or charge admission to your screening event (which is useful for fundraisers). The choice is yours as the event host and any funds you raise are yours to keep.
How do I access the film?
Our distribution partner, Kinema, will make the film available to you 72 hours before your screening event through a secure streaming link. For in-person screenings at venues that do not have reliable internet access, you can also request a downloadable file for offline playback.
Do you provide a DCP for theater screenings?
Yes! We’re happy to provide a Digital Cinema Package (DCP) for theater screenings for an additional $125 USD. Please contact us at info@wealthuntoldfilm.com for details.
What promotional materials do you provide?
Once your screening event is approved by Kinema, you’ll receive access to our Screening Toolkit with movie posters, stills, trailers, press notes, and other resources to help promote your event.
Can the filmmakers participate in a Q&A session?
The film producers and/or select film participants may be available to attend in-person screenings or join virtually for a Q&A, depending on timing, location, and availability. A list of potential speakers will be provided to you after Kinema approves your screening request. You can contact the speakers individually, or reach out to us at info@wealthuntoldfilm.com for assistance.
I have more questions. Who do I contact?
Send us an email to info@wealthuntoldfilm.com. We really appreciate your interest in hosting a screening of Wealth Untold, so we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you!
